· it has been said (throughout this blog and elsewhere) that Jehanne and Gilles both come from the
Dianic Cult (and its ties to the Old Religion) and that this is the reason that
Jehanne gave herself for the sacrifice – FIRE
being the means for sacrificing

Gilles too gave himself to the sacrifice, but not
before sacrificing many young boys (lambs) before himself (didn’t it say he
burnt the bodies???)

Gilles body did not FULLY burn when burnt at the
stake, his body saved from woman who took him off to preserve his body.
Interesting to our perspective of the story because he did not suffer the
sentenced punishment as Jehanne did (not sacrificed the way he offered his body
to be) and therefore he is sentenced to burn in hell for eternity (reliving the
play/the flames?)
